In Athens, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Georgia, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (706) 353-2223. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, florahydro.com.

If I could leave no stars I would. Worst experience ever with online sales. Not only did I never recieve my item but they dodge calls and emails. Well actually they make sure to respond within two days so you can't file an a to z with Amazon lol but only the first one AND it's just a basic non descriptive cookie cutter email. To top it off they don't even carry my item they have it sent from a 4th party.. absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered a greenhouse for over 4k over 3 weeks ago and its still in "processing" stage. I actually talked to Ricky when ordering the product and he seemed very helpful. But now I can not get anyone to return my calls or emails and No one ever answers the phone. Tried many many many times so now I have to try to get my money back. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Pretty sure they are not a legitimate business.

Great place for all that expert gardening supplies and advice. If you're ok feeding the plants that feed you chemical fertilizers like miracle grow, this ain't for you, stay at the big box stores. But if you're interested in feeding the live organisms that naturally, organically feed your food, this is the only place in the state and wonderful knowledgeable staff. Your garden will be the envy of everyone like you secretly want. Been going there for years now.

This is a top notch place. Fast and knowledge service. Talk to Ricky, he will get things together from start to finish and give you best deal around, this place beats Amazon prices, no point to go there anymore for me.. If your trying to rock out a small garden or large warehouse grow, Flora is the place to put that together. Thanks and life in the garden got a lot easier since I have flora hydroponics in my back pocket. Happy Gardening Joe Neville

I started shopping at Flora last year and will not waste my time shopping any where else in the Atlanta market. The staff is knowledgable and very helpful. Weather you are just getting into indoor gardening or a seasoned pro you will not be disappointed. They will price match anything in our market and can bring in anything you need small or large. They are not a pretty shiney place but they are the best stop on your hydroponic adventure. Helpful honest and easy to deal with.
